Why is it called the Weekend Facelift?

Dr. Singer's patients commonly refer to this procedure as the Weekend Facelift because of the shortened length of the procedure and recovery time. It typically takes only an hour and a half, with no hospital stay required.

When can I return to my normal routine?

It is generally recommended that patients "take it easy" for a few days after the procedure.

Most patients return to work or their normal routine within four to seven days after the procedure.

How is the Weekend Facelift different from a traditional facelift?

The traditional facelift usually requires three weeks for healing and patients may experience an extended period of numbness. There is distinctly less swelling and bruising with the Weekend Facelift, so the healing period is much shorter. And, because the Weekend Facelift requires less surgical time, it is approximately one third the cost of a full facelift.
